International lawyer and consultant specializing in energy, new technologies, and the environment. Ph.D. candidate at the Université de Bordeaux. His doctoral research focuses on the analysis of regulation for the implementation in the energy sector of nanotechnology, biotechnology, cognitive science and information and communication technologies, with special emphasis on hydrocarbon production.
In addition to several courses on new technologies, intellectual property, international negotiations, Alberto's pre-doctoral training, and research include the Master in Energy Management and Regulation and Sustainable Development of UNISTRA, as well as two simultaneous specializations, on the one hand the Interdisciplinary Master in Environment: Human and Socioeconomic Dimensions, and, on the other hand, the Magister in Environmental Law, both from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), under the auspices of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID).
He holds a law degree from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). He is fluent in English and French.
On a professional level, Alberto has worked as a managing attorney and later as director of the legal department of a company dedicated to environmental management in Mexico, achieving the restructuring of the company in order to compete in public and private tenders, obtaining great results and important contracts in the central region of the country. He participated in the constitution of the Forum of Young Researchers in Law, sponsored by the Institute of Parliamentary Law of the UCM and the Spanish Parliament.
