He is also a member of the VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) jury, specifically for the master's degree in "Corporate Communication and Social Media." This responsibility consists of evaluating the thesis work to grant or deny the master's degree to professionals in the sector in France.

He began his professional career as a journalist in Mexico and later worked in corporate communication at Telefónica, in Madrid. In addition, she directed the Observatory of Communication in Research Centres in France, a study supported by the French Ministry of Education.

Start-ups and spin-offs from the French research world have used it to promote their development in the financial and business world. Companies such as Ynsect (world leader in the cultivation of insects for the agri-food sector) or Afyren (specialist in the transformation of waste into reusable biomolecules) have benefited from its advice. She has also participated in projects in the field of sustainable development and responsible communication with the European Economic and Social Committee and the Agency for the Environment and Energy Management (ADEME).

She has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidad del Valle de México and a degree in Journalism from the Universidad Europea de Madrid. She holds two master's degrees: in Economic Information from the Complutense University of Madrid and in Business Communication and Sociology of Information Technologies from the University of Paris-Est Marné-la-Vallée. She is currently doing a doctorate on efficiency indicators of communication in digital contexts (KPIs and web metrics) in the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Science, Innovation and Society (LISIS).

Valeria promotes actions to strengthen the link between the world of research and civil society. Thanks to the "From Research to Action" approach, it seeks to create links between the world of business and research, both in the basic sciences and in the social sciences. It has worked with researchers and scientists to apply this methodology and produce synergies that are sometimes unexpected. This "bridge between the two worlds" allows results to be adapted to practical, financial, and business environments, but with the foundations and rigor characteristic of the world of research.
